Year 10 Genetics Research Assignment

You are to choose one topic from below (A - C) and complete all the research 

questions (1 - 5) on that topic:

Biotechnologies
A. Genetic engineering/ Recombinant DNA technologies
B. Tissue regeneration/ stem cell research
C. Genetic modification

   
     Research questions

1. Explain in depth the biotechnology technique (5 marks)

2. Outline the research being undertaken and the possible uses for the technique. 
(5 marks)

3. Explain any ethical issues that arise from the technique (5 marks)

4. Outline the research history of your chosen topic. In your research, include case study examples of the research undertaken. (5 marks)

5. Ensure that you include a reference page with proper referencing (5 marks)
